Sarah Abbott

Sarah is the most versatile member of our group. She usually plays a bass clarinet as big as she is, but she also composes, and arranges and transcribes many pieces in our repertoire . She is a music teacher and plays lead alto saxophone in In the Pink Big Band (see Links)

Dawn Griffiths

Dawn is proving to be as versatile as Sarah, having been a Banker,a Clarinet Teacher, a School Teacher and Head of Music - and now she is the Learning Coordinator at a large Secondary School

Nick Hunt

 Nick was already well established as a clarinet performer when our group formed. He is Leader of the Bournemouth and District Concert Band, and he has recently started arranging and transcribing music for us. He is  a Deputy School Bursar.

Janet Cooke

Janet rounded up all the best clarinet players that she knew to establish the clarinet group (originally "Sarah's Clarinet Players" ) that evolved into Liquorice Quartet and she continues to organise the other three..... She practises Medicine (when not practising music !)
