We are based in the Dorset area of the UK, and first started playing together in 1998 after meeting up as members of the Bournemouth and District Concert Band.

We felt that the trumpet players got all the best bits...... and so we decided to form Liquorice Clarinet Players, and then Liquorice Quartet - to demonstrate the beauty and versatility of the clarinet.

We have performed on many occasions at a wide variety of venues including Hotels, University  events, Charity Functions, Wedding and Anniversary parties and Music Festivals.
